主要从事干细胞与骨、软骨再生研究，近5年共发表了SCI论文24篇，其中：第一作者(含共一) 论文10篇 ，三篇被选为封面论文。研究成果被邀请在多个国际会议作汇报，为国际华人骨研学会会员。以主要负责人承担了国家自然科学基金、省部级和校级基金共4个。
