Dr. Peng Chen is an Associate
Professor in the Department of Radiology, Tenth People’s Hospital of Tongji
University, Shanghai, China. She received her PhD in Materials Science, and
M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from Donghua University, and her B.Sc. in Chemistry
from Henan University. Her research interest focuses on the development of
nanomedicine for diagnosis and theranostic applications. Prof. Peng has a broad
background in interdisciplinary research, with specific interests in novel
nanocomposites, molecular imaging of disease diagnosis for different kind of
animal models of disease (Mainly focused on CT, MR, PET/CT, and Optical
Imaging). Prof. Peng has hosted both National Natural Science Foundation
of China (NSFC) and The Fund of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai
Municipality, and published more than 40 scientific papers in high-impact
journals. Her H-index is about 18. She is a co-inventor of six patents, and the
current application is logically based on her prior work.
